Meet Treasure, a talking horse who has been in Heaven since the very beginning. Jesus’ own favourite horse, he was there when the Father planned to bring a family home. Now he is ready to tell the story as only a faithful witness can.
Written by Rick Damouth and inspired by God Himself, The Treasure of Heaven is gentle enough for the youngest hearts and rich enough to speak to grown-ups too. Follow Treasure from the throne room of Heaven to the road to Bethlehem, and see the love Jesus has for His Father, and for you, brought to life.
Rick has also written songs to go alongside the book. They are his gift to you, free to listen to and share, and every song is on his YouTube channel.
These songs are created with the help of AI, and Rick wants you to know that the words and heart behind them are his.
I’m an old cowboy, and I’ll tell you right now that The Treasure of Heaven isn’t polished, it’s just written. The story came to me from God, and I’m still amazed He’d use someone like me. When I work with Play-doh, God makes something beyond my abilities out of it. That’s how I see this book.
My bride Kathy and I have been married for over 50 years. She has been our rock through raising four children, Shonna, Ricky, Katie and Sierra, and now through grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We live on Castle Rock Ranch in Leasburg, Missouri. I grew up in the small town of Bunker, Missouri, and ran Cowtown USA in Cuba, Missouri, for over 35 years. These days I’m retired and working with my grandkids on a new venture, Rock Ranch Monuments.
My whole life is built on the Rock, Jesus Christ. I invite you to come on this journey with Treasure and me, and discover what life is really about.
